Rotary’s seven areas of focus—promoting peace, fighting disease, providing clean water, saving mothers and children, supporting education, growing local economies, and protecting the environment—form the foundation of Rotary Moorabbin’s work. These priorities shape our initiatives and drive meaningful impact through focused projects and strong partnerships.
Jane Mulchay and members of the Rotary Club of Bentleigh Moorabbin Central attended a meeting of the Oakleigh Clayton Huntingdale Rotary Club on September 22 to welcome back Ethan Newnham, recipient of a Rotary Global Grant. Joined by PDG Bob Richards, they celebrated Ethan's return from the University of Oxford, where he completed an MSc in Neuroscience with honours.
Ethan Newnham, a Rotary Scholarship recipient who has completed his Masters in Neuroscience at Oxford University.
Ethan shared highlights of his academic, sporting, and personal achievements over the past year. The evening’s major announcement was that Oxford has invited him back, fully funded, to pursue a PhD over the next four years. Ethan credited Rotary's support for making these opportunities possible.
We look forward to staying in touch with Ethan and hearing more about his future accomplishments.
