Homeless Youths: This year our club has funded the training of three homeless youths, associated with the MOIRA organization, one for traffic management, another for theatre acting course and a mother for a computer course.

Citizens of the Year: Steph Bishop our vocational director attended the speech night of the two schools we associate with, Bentleigh secondary College and Carwatha College. The most deserving senior students, selected by staff at BSC were presented with the citizen watches. The students are selected for their contributions to the school and community outside school. Carwatha awarded them to the most deserving student in junior school and senior school.

Pre-apprenticeship: A grant of $790 was given to an underprivileged student at Carwatha College to pay for the equipment for hairdressing course at Chisholm TAFE.
